Companies are good at recording and collecting production data. However, the wide range of evaluation options is not used. Data saved is only analysed – if at all – when there are problems in the production process or control parameters are outside a manually defined tolerance, and this is usually done manually, too. Yet IPT.Stack could do so much more. It can produce predictions and recommend action on the basis of the data saved. Gone are the days when staff had to search for and manually make the best setting from hundreds of different parameters, and could only rely on their experience and intuition.
